October 2007

S. D. Lyons participated in the 6th annual Advanced Vehicle Fire School hosted by the Connecticut Fire Academy. Speakers included Detective Christopher Bertolotta of the Connecticut State Police Auto Theft Unit, Assistant District Attorney Michael Daylor, and John Gasiorek of the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator Dennis Lyons of S. D. Lyons conducted a two-and-a-half day vehicle fire school that included live test burns of vehicles. The Advanced Fire School is held annually for public officials to update them on the latest developments and guidelines of vehicle fire investigation.
